Trust and safety
Community guidelines
Effective July 12, 2026
ScrubHub is a study community. Make it useful, encouraging, and safe for nursing students and professionals at every stage.
Be a good study partner
- Be respectful, specific, and constructive. Disagree with an idea without attacking a person.
- Welcome beginners and people in different nursing pathways, schools, countries, and roles.
- Use names, credentials, school affiliations, and achievements honestly. School and program details are self-reported, not verified endorsements.
- Keep posts relevant to education, accountability, nursing study, and professional growth.
Protect patients and each other
- Never share patient identifiers or protected health information. Change or omit details even when discussing a learning scenario.
- Do not record, screenshot, or redistribute another person’s camera feed or room conversation without clear permission.
- Keep your background free of patient charts, badges, screens, and confidential school or employer information.
- Body doubling starts camera-off. If you turn video on, everyone in that focus hall may see it. Microphones remain muted there.
Academic and exam integrity
- Do not share recalled, stolen, or live licensure/certification exam questions.
- Do not ask someone to complete graded work, clinical documentation, or a competency on your behalf.
- You may explain concepts, compare study approaches, and create original practice questions.
Not allowed
Harassment, hate, sexual content, threats, stalking, scams, impersonation, spam, doxxing, dangerous medical instructions, illegal activity, targeted misinformation, and attempts to bypass moderation are not allowed. Do not promote herbs, supplements, medications, or treatment changes as replacements for individualized professional care.
Reporting and moderation
Use Report on a post or message when something violates these rules. Reports may be reviewed with the surrounding context. Depending on severity, ScrubHub may remove content, restrict a feature, suspend an account, preserve safety records, or contact appropriate authorities when legally required.
Reporting is for safety—not disagreement or retaliation. Repeated false reports can also lead to restrictions.
If someone appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or an appropriate crisis resource. ScrubHub is not an emergency service.
Your controls
Community identity sharing is off by default. You can keep school, program, and cohort hidden while still participating. You can leave a room, turn off camera access, delete your own posts where available, and report unsafe content.
