ScrubHub Academy is built for nursing learners with different devices, abilities, environments, and ways of studying. We are working toward a consistently usable experience that follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.
What the product supports
- Keyboard accessCore navigation, forms, dialogs, lessons, and practice controls are designed to work without a mouse.
- Screen readersPages use headings, labels, landmarks, status messages, and descriptive text to communicate structure and changes.
- Visible focusInteractive elements show a clear focus indicator so keyboard users can follow their position.
- Responsive textThe interface adapts across phones and larger screens and is designed to remain useful when browser text is enlarged.
- Color and meaningImportant states such as correct, incorrect, warning, or progress use text or icons as well as color.
- Motion preferencesWhere animation is not essential, the interface respects your device's reduced-motion preference.
Visual and interactive learning
Diagrams, anatomy models, live video, and other highly visual features can create additional accessibility challenges. We aim to pair important visual information with labels, explanatory text, keyboard controls, or an equivalent study path. Camera and microphone features are optional; text-based study tools remain available when you do not grant media permission.
Known limitations
ScrubHub is evolving quickly, and some newly released visualizations, third-party live-media controls, or generated educational content may not yet provide the same level of access as the main study experience. Automated AI output may also produce headings, descriptions, or reading order that need improvement. These limitations do not change the educational-only status of the content.
We review high-use learning paths first and use learner feedback to prioritize fixes. A polished interface or technical accessibility check does not mean every screen has completed evaluation with every assistive technology.
Help us remove a barrier
If something prevents you from studying, tell us what page or feature you were using, what you expected to happen, and your browser, device, or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it. Open ScrubHub and choose Feedback in the navigation. Select a bug report and begin the message with “Accessibility.”
Need the same learning material in another format? Include that request in your feedback. We will work with you on a reasonable alternative when one is available.
Our ongoing work
Accessibility is part of design, development, content review, and quality testing—not a one-time checklist. We will update this statement as the product, standards, and our testing coverage change.
